RESEARCH TEAM

JLARF Research Advisory Team wants to ensure that Scholars experienced or new, will have a clear path to get to their work published in our journal offer assistance and support for prospective authors in the following areas : 

  1. Choosing research topics based on the most recent developments in Applied Linguistics, Psychology, Education, Transformative Education, Holistic Language Learning and Teaching, Curriculum Development, Syllabus Design, and Materials Production, Artificial Intelligence and ELT, AI and EFL/ESL, Language Assessment, and Language Learning and Teaching programs.
  2. Providing consultation in the process of developing research titles and clarification of research factors and variables
  3. Providing assistance in forming proposals and research roadmaps to put the research procedure into perspective.
  4. Providing assistance in determining the appropriate research design and research procedure
  5. Providing support in determining appropriate research method (QUANTITATIVE, QUALITATIVE, MIXED-METHOD) as well as the detailed research types (observational, descriptive, correlational, experimental, longitudinal, case study, action research, etc.)
  6. Providing support in data collection procedures (test construction, test administration, test validation,  assessment procedure of various types including portfolio assessment, dynamic assessment, divergent and convergent assessment, etc.)
  7. Providing assistance in choosing the most appropriate statistical tests for data analysis in experimental studies.
  8. Providing consultation in data analysis, data interpretation, and decision making.
  9. Providing assistance in planning, forming, and writing research report based on JLARF Mission and Scope.

ASSESSMENT TEAM

Our assessment advisory team will provide assistance to the researchers who need proper plans and designs for assessment of their research participants, corpus, and models. Our assessment/testing team can provide sophomores, undergraduates, and postgraduates up with the following supports:

  • Designing English language learning measurement tests of various proficiency types and levels. 
  • Designing test baterries including the four language skills including Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing as well as the three areas of knowledge comprising structure and grammar rules, pronunciation and accent related elements, and vocabulary of various forms and types.
  • Designing and constructing Likert-type format questionnaires to collect data in clinical research which is nevertheless a difficult and challenging task.
  • Developing Assessment Programs, testing procedures, measurement scales, test rubrics and corresponding descriptors, evaluation criteria, and decision-making farmeworks and models
  • Determing the purpose, designing the model, and developing practical farmework of portfolio assessment, dynamic assessment, convergent and divergent assessment programs
  • Developing customized linguistic and psychological  tests based on research results nd reports 
  • Validating various test types via various validation procedures.
