About JLARF Logo

All logos designed by all institutions, journals, companies, universities, colleges, schools, or any organization signifies appeal to the logic underlying the formation of the establishment. The prime logic behind the logo designed for Language Assessment Research Foundation (LARF) was the concept of bar chart, column graph, or histogram used regularly in Language Assessment and Research Statistics.    JLARF, the first derivation of LARF, avails from the Meta logo exhibiting flamboyant colorful tone.  As JLARF core team we use this logo to make clear, logical connections between ideas, and includes the use of facts, evidence, and statistics. We also use historical, creative, imaginative, and literal analogies to make a logical argument over JLARF logo.

At first glance, JLARF’s logo is the symbol of a statistical bar chart which represents the main scope of our foundation, which refers to both language assessment and research. Besides this definition, the colors which are used in this logo refer to the variety of research designs, namely, quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-method. From the other way round, we can see different people (humans) who are jumping up and down which can refer to those who have eagerness to do research based on the diverse perspectives and standpoints signifying interdisciplinary study and research topics. Artistically speaking, this logo can refer to a music equalizer representing Mozart Effect theory that has proven to enhance learning, understanding, and writing research as a unique masterpiece.
